Our Attorneys: A Family Firm

Conrad Trosch & Kemmy is a family firm that has included three generations of lawyers in one family.

Our firm’s co-founder, Lou Trosch, his wife, Minette Trosch, and their two sons, Bill Trosch and Eric Trosch, all are partners in Conrad Trosch & Kemmy. Minette’s father, T.C. Conrad, was a partner in the firm until his death in 1992. The couple’s third son, Lou Jr., also was a member of the firm before his election to a Mecklenburg County District Court Judgeship.

Michael Kemmy, a partner in the firm since 1992, also comes from a family of lawyers. His father was an attorney who was a Special Agent for the FBI in San Antonio, TX, and his brother is a practicing attorney in San Antonio.

Attorney Andrew Rheingrover decided to enter law school after an internship at his grandmother’s New York City law firm where she and his aunt practice family law. And attorney Benjamin Drayton is married to an attorney who practices at another Charlotte firm.

Jennifer Scott is the first attorney in her family and is the first Spanish speaking attorney in our firm.
