Ben Drayton has represented clients in a variety of real estate and lending matters, including the acquisition, sale, lease, development and financing of retail, warehouse, industrial and office space.

Ben’s practice has included negotiating and preparing purchase agreements for multi-million-dollar retail shopping centers, preparing environmental indemnity agreements in commercial transactions, and representing business owners in the sale and purchase of small- to medium- sized businesses.

Ben represented the seller in the sale of a commercial facility to the Indian Motorcycle Company, the only North American manufacturing plant of the legendary Indian Motorcycle. He represented an out-of-state client in the acquisition of five shopping centers in North Carolina and South Carolina.

A cum laude graduate from Winthrop University with a degree in Business Administration, Ben was a Presidential Scholar Athletic Award Winner from 1996-2000. He is a graduate of Thomas M. Colley Law School.  His wife also is a practicing attorney in in Charlotte.

While fulfilling his duty to advocate aggressively for his clients, Ben uses his ability to bring all parties together to focus and to reach the goal at hand, whether the subject is real estate or an existing business.His simple philosophy is “treat others as you would like to be treated.
