Jennifer Scott has always been passionate about helping people. That passion strongly influenced her decision to become an attorney and has helped to shape Jennifer’s legal practice.

Jennifer’s legal career began shortly after completing her undergraduate studies at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor degree in Spanish. Following graduation, Jennifer lived in Madrid, Spain where she interned with the corporate group of the law firm H&S Sampere Asociados. While assisting with trial preparation and appeals, Jennifer was able to increase her fluency of the Spanish language, a skill she currently maintains. 

Following the completion of her internship in Spain, Jennifer attended and graduated from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. While in law school, Jennifer was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board where she competed in, coached, and judged several trial competitions. She worked on various legal matters for members of the Washington, DC community including civil litigation, family law, and formal mediation agreements. That work led to her receipt of the J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro public service fellowship for outstanding commitment to non-profit public service legal organizations. 

Prior to joining Conrad Trosch & Kemmy, Jennifer worked in Chicago, IL where she represented families in Child Protection proceedings with the Cook County government. In that role, she litigated more than 300 issues on behalf of families and acted as a neutral third-party mediator to assist her clients resolve their disputes and reach mutually agreeable settlements. Additionally, she has experience with real estate matters, having served as the Settlement Attorney for buyers and sellers of residential property.
